The Pharmacy Regency Technologist is competent to manage pharmaceutical establishments for dispensing medicines to the public, according to current regulations of the pharmaceutical services in the country.
The curriculum of the program consists of training modules, integrating projects and education in the workplace.  

Training Modules
It is comprised of basic skill modules, specific and transversal, with a modular structure that allows the integration of attitudinal, conceptual and procedural content.

Basic Foundation Modules:
It is comprised of knowledge and academic activities that provide disciplinary and scientific foundations that give coherence to the program. They include: fundamentals of Bioscience, First aid procedures, occupational health, principals of clinical and therapeutic pharmacology of drugs that are in the mandatory health plan, and support in pharmaceutical care.

Specific Modules:
This is a supplement to the basic modules which aims to help develop the skills, abilities and expertise of the profession, among which are: managing of pharmaceutical services, promotion and proper use of medications,  implementation of The Quality Management System in the Pharmaceutical Service, Marketing and sales of drugs and medical devices, Integrated  Management of Pharmaceutical Waste, Preparation of  topical master formulas and Support in programs of Pharmacosurveillance – Technosurveillance and pharmacotherapeutic follow up.

Transversal Modules:
It is the main institutional objective. These courses involve social and humanistic principles to the academic formation which are fundamental to complement the major and ensure integral training, these are: Identity and Entrepreneurship, English I: A1, English II: A2, English with a specific purpose: B1 and Entrepreneurship.

Integration Projects
They address Interdisciplinary projects on issues related to environmental and technological processes. It presents a comprehensive view of the phenomena involved. For the Pharmacy Regency Technology Program research develops through Integration projects, entrepreneurship and seed research projects, with the following moments of the training:

Integration Project  I: the draft is done
Integration Project II: the project is developed
Integration Project III: Implementation of the project and its sustainability are done.

Through program practices students will have the opportunity to establish a guide that while in practice, can be related to the topic of research for the integration project.

Work Centre Training    
Academic and practical activities where procedures, processes and techniques of work context are implemented. Experiential and contextualized Praxis, to evidence, broaden and strengthen the professional training. Requires interaction in the workplace and building solutions to real situations.

Training in workplace consists of three practices: Practice I is developed in a pharmaceutical service of a low complexity health institution, where the student develops activities such as technical acceptance of drugs and medical devices, as well as storage and dispensing them to the public.

In practice II, the student develops the workshop about preparation of topical master formulas.

Practice III takes place in a pharmaceutical service of a health care institution of medium or high complexity, carrying out activities in special processes of pharmacy service such as pharmacosurveillance activities, pharmacotherapeutic monitoring, plant mixtures, and single dose distribution among others.
