The technology transfer office assigned to the Investigations Division has among its functions to support national and international dissemination of research conducted by the University. One of these activities is the Institutional Research Conference held each year with the participation of teachers and researchers with their best research results.
It also has the responsibility to relate the institution through its research with Companies, in coordination with the University- Company- Government Committee, TECNNOVA Corporation, and the PROINNOVA program.
This office supports the University technology management processes with the following activities:
• Manage processes of technological surveillance by instructing researchers about how to have access to patent banks, and identify the state of the research products that can be protected under copyright laws.
• Support processes for the protection of intellectual property.
• Mapp research projects to measure according to their level of development their potential to be transferred.
• Support the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Unit to create new companies from research results.
